Course Description

Poetry is an art form many consider boring, unapproachable, intimidating or downright confusing. In this discussion based class, we’ll be exploring why poetry has such a polarizing reputation, and we’ll read and dissect both contemporary and classic works together. This will be a great opportunity to discover whether or not you even like poetry, and what styles, writers and subjects you are most drawn to.
