Something’s got to give, and we’re going to figure it out – together. The world, its leaders, its people, and its children, seem to be en route to destroying themselves. But not if we can help it. Ideologies, cults, and divisions galore, polar opposites themselves seem to have broken into factions. Feeling as if we are pulled from left, right, and below towards set guidelines to freedom and prosperity, where do we begin, truly, in order to fix that which society has broken?
In this course, we will seek to discover where it is we should begin to mend our mistakes by perusing:
Bikile, the course’s instructor, is a writer, curator, and the founder of Deixis Gallery in San Diego, California. By no means an expert on such topics, he is an avid reader and researcher on the topics mentioned above. Everything taught in this class is open to interpretation and debate, however, the goal is not only to find common ground, but establish it as foundation to build upon.
This course will have unorthodox assignments and experiments, and a final project (TBD), which all participants are expected to engage with and complete.
The ideal student: One with an open mind and heart.
